Founded in 1992 as a maker of casual footwear, Skechers steadily made its way into sports, eventually becoming quite big in golf with Matt Kuchar, Colin Montgomerie, Billy Andrade and Brooke Henderson among tour professionals who wear the company’s shoes.
Its collections feature a number of models, and among the newest of those are the Go Golf Elite 4 and Elite 4 Prestige, both of which are spikeless.
The Elite 4 version boasts an athletic look, with a low-profile design that is made to keep a golfer’s feet low to the ground and work with a Gripflex TPU outsole for improved balance and traction. Comfort is enhanced through Ultra Go and Goga Max cushioning, while the “lux leather” uppers offer waterproof protection with a two-year warranty.
As for the Elite 4 Prestige version, it features the same technological benefits found in the Elite 4, but has a leather/knit combination upper that possesses a Relaxed Fit design and features a roomier forefoot section.
