Ken Kinkopf won the Society of Seniors Spring Classic last Wednesday. Kinkopf, 58, shot 73-79-69 at Abacoa Golf Club in his winter home of Jupiter, Fla., to finish at 4-under-par 212, two strokes ahead of Michael Kelley of Westerville, Ohio, in the senior division (ages 55 to 64).
On the heels of capturing six prominent senior-amateur titles across the country in 2019, Kinkopf continued his winning ways. Three of Kinkopf’s six titles last year came in Society of Seniors tournaments, and he is the organization’s reigning senior player of the year.

Keith Decker of Martinsville, Va., Robert Funk of Canyon Lake, Calif., and Steve Cannady of Pooler, Ga., finished tied for third at 1-under 215.
Marc Fried of Solon, Ohio, won the super senior division (65-69), defeating James Castagna and Murphy Mitchell with a birdie on the first playoff hole after all three players finished at 2-over 218.
Johnny Blank of Frostburg, Md., won the legends division (70-74) , defeating John Osborne in a playoff after both players finished at 2-under 214.
Jim DuBois of Coral Springs, Fla., won the grand masters division (75-79), finishing at 1-under 215, three strokes ahead of Walt Martin. And Charles Busbee of Stockbridge, Ga., won the super grand masters division (80 and older) with a 4-over 220 total.
