We’ve all been frustrated at one time or another out on the golf course. Heck, even Tiger Woods had a 10 on the 12th hole at the 2020 Masters that had the big cat shaking his head in disgust.
So what is it that, despite the bad times, always brings us back to the course to tee it up yet again?
We had some of our writers dive into some of the reasons, and they came back with six concrete reasons: The Challenge itself, the Exercise we get, the Friendships we make, the use of the Handicap Index System that turns a mismatch in playing ability in other sports into a fair fight, the Relaxation that golf can provide and the escape into the great Outdoors.
We hope this reminds you of all the smiles, warmth and the passion we get out of playing this wonderful game. We’ll see you on the tee!
