How does the NCGA Player of the Year Program work?
Each points season runs from Oct.1 to Sept. 30 of the following year. For the 2023-24 season, the season began Oct.1, 2023 and runs through Sept. 30, 2024.
Players earn points relative to how they finish in events. The higher the finish, the more points earned.
In order to earn NCGA Player Points, contestants must be amateur golfers who are current members of a club in good standing with the NCGA. Players must have a current numeric index listed on the master report prior to the start of the event.
All points are assigned by the NCGA only based on the official results provided by the tournament.
