The Challenge Cup is staying in Southern California for another year.
The PGA Junior Southern California defeated the JTNC, 13-11, in early January to win the 8th annual Challenge Cup at Poppy Hills.
What is the Challenge Cup?
An annual event where 12 of the best juniors (eight boys, four girls) representing the JTNC go against a dozen of SoCal's best juniors in a Ryder Cup-like format. For the juniors, it’s a rare chance to compete in match play.
With their win, SoCal now leads 5-3 in overall Cup series.
Representing the JTNC were Jaden Dumdumaya, Ayden Fynaut, Matthew Lin, Zackary Tarter, Cambron Nevill, Trenton Stuart, Clark Van Gaalen, Christopher Bettencourt, Asterisk Talley, Lily Peng, Gianna Singh and Cathy Zhang.
