Founded in 2016, The Golf Room is a first-of-its-kind golf performance facility based in Dublin, Ohio. It was built on the belief that elite-level golf instruction requires a holistic, integrated approach. Our esteemed team of fitness professionals brings together golf instruction, fitness training, physical therapy, mental coaching and custom club fitting all under one roof. It’s not just about swing mechanics—it’s about building complete golfers.
Our mission not only requires the stellar team we have, but also a massive facility. At 17,000 square feet, The Golf Room is the largest indoor player development facility in the U.S. and the second largest in the world. This footprint includes a 3,000 square foot full-service gym equipped with Keiser, TRX and Rogue gear, selected for golf-specific strength and power training. We also have 12 hitting bays powered by Trackman technology, as well as Sportsbox AI and V1 pressure maps. We also have the world’s largest PuttView putting lab, and offer video feedback stations and 3D motion capture systems for biomechanical assessments.
In addition, our engagement extends online, with a community of more than 50,000 golfers worldwide learning the importance of skill, body and mind from the comfort of their own homes.
As a former PGA Tour player and Golf Digest “Best Young Teacher in America, I have a deep background in competitive golf. But what truly sets us apart at The Golf Room is our fusion of golf-specific fitness and biomechanics. From the start, we’ve collaborated with TPI-certified trainers and physical therapists to design fitness programs that are custom-built for how a golfer moves, not just how he or she trains. This isn’t general strength and conditioning—it’s golf fitness designed to lower scores.
This means our programming is highly customized and built to meet golfers exactly where they are. We design programs that help improve their body so their body can help their swing. Whether a player is preparing for his or her first junior tournament, has their eyes on a college scholarship or is striving to regain their edge after years away from the game, we tailor each program to their goals, movement patterns and swing tendencies.
To do this effectively, we put every new student through a swing assessment and a fitness evaluation so that we can connect the two, as we believe this is integral to their success on the course. After all, most golf swings are based around the limitations of the player’s body, and more often than not, the golfer is unaware that this is even happening.
At The Golf Room, we’ve built a true team model. In addition to my CEO duties, I take pride in leading the golf instruction, while our in-house team of fitness experts—all of whom are TPI certified—work in tandem with our coaches to design movement correction and performance plans.
We also partner with local PGA of America Golf Professionals who refer their students to us for swing efficiency analysis, body-swing connection work and strength and mobility programming that complements their technical instruction.
What we offer at The Golf Room goes beyond the common cookie-cutter blueprint that isn’t always effective in its results. Ours is a high-performance ecosystem where every coach and trainer is aligned around the same goal: helping the athlete fulfill their unique god-given destiny. These athletes bring a variety of different skills to the table, but our sweet spot is competitive juniors, collegiate athletes and serious adult amateurs. These players aren’t just playing for fun—they want to improve, and they’re willing to do the work. With that being said, we also work with many middle-aged golfers looking to extend their playing years and finally fix the chronic movement issues that have held them back.
With a primary demographic between 14–55, our golfers are already engaged in their game and seek a comprehensive plan that brings together swing mechanics, physical training and on-course performance. They’ve had enough band-aid fixes and YouTube tips—they want the real thing. They want lasting results!
We help them get those results and achieve their goals by connecting the dots. For instance, when a golfer slices the ball, it’s rarely just a grip or path issue. It’s often a result of restricted mobility or poor sequencing caused by physical limitations. Our assessments identify those root causes and build a plan to fix them for good. At the same time, our staff works together in real time with the golf coach, trainer and physical therapist often working with a player in the same hour, sharing notes and aligning on the plan.
