Designed by Tom Doak for the CGA, the name "CommonGround" was chosen not simply to name the golf course, but to declare a mission:
"To provide everyone in the state with a first-class environment in which to comfortably learn, enjoy, and support this amazing game and all that it offers."
Not your typical public golf course, CommonGround plays host to dozens of CGA Community programs, 15 CGA Golf in Schools field trips annually, and is home to the nationally renown Solich Caddie & Leadership Academy. While kids are being introduced to the game on the Par-3 course and expansive practice facility, players of all ages and abilities are enjoying the challenge of the 18-hole Tom Doak Championship course. And during the summer, players can take a Solich Academy caddie for free!
With a commitment to tradition and excellence, Tom Doak created a masterpiece for the ages that is easy to walk, worthy of the highest level of competition, and most importantly fun to play. Although located in the heart of the city, the urban sprawl surrounding the course is unnoticeable, and the breathtaking views of the majestic front range of Colorado are a site to behold. Every year CommonGround hosts numerous CGA and USGA tournaments and qualifiers, as well as the CGA State Junior Championships.
