Writing that asks teens to explore their sense of self culturally. They will be asked to explore their identities as Denverites, Coloradans, and as Americans within the historical context of where they are, where they’re from, and where they want to be.
Think Cupid is stupid? Do mushy lines on greeting cards make your stomach turn? Make a black duct tape rose, write black out poetry, make a sarcastic beaded bracelet, create the ultimate emo playlist, and more. Black, goth, and emo clothing encouraged.
