Rebecca A. Andrews, MD, MSc, FACP, is Internal Medicine Meeting 2021: Virtual Experience's host for Friday, April 30. Dr. Andrews, who takes office on Sunday, May 2, as Chair of ACP's Board of Governors for 2021-2022, will guide registered meeting attendees through Friday's events, helping them move from session to session, keeping them informed about what's happening, and providing an end-of-day wrapup.
"I think this year, more than any year, you can see the breadth of what is offered at this meeting," Dr. Andrews said. "As a primary care doc, I like to do everything so I can learn soup-to-nuts hospital, outpatient, specialty care, procedures—even talk about ethics and efficiency, billing and coding. This is what makes ACP so great, and I'm really impressed with how we've expanded our virtual offerings. I just can't wait to be a part of it."
