This is an old family recipe. I grew up watching my mom prepare this for our family and over the years, it has become one of my favorites. It is easy to prepare and I think that your family will love it as much as mine does.

Take a pasta pot and fill it with water ¼ of the way. Put 1tsp of salt & turn stove on high. Place colander in the pot & place the broccoli rabe in the colander and cover pot for 8 minutes. You will be steaming the broccoli rabe until it is al dente’.
I prefer to BBQ my Venison Sausage but you can also broil it at 350 degrees.
Coat a frying pan with the extra virgin olive oil. Heat the pan on medium and saute’ the onion and garlic. When the onions are translucent, add the broccoli rabe and cherry peppers and mix them together. Slice the Venison Sausage and mix it into the Broccoli Rabe along with the onion, garlic and cherry pepper on a medium heat. You can add salt & black pepper to taste and it is as simple as that. Your family will love it!
