We had published this recipe in our publication last year. We are running it again because of the overwhelming response but this time we are adding video so you can watch first-hand how we prepare this wonderfully delicious meal.
There are only a few ingredients that will be needed for this dish.
1 – Package of Venison Steaks
1- Eggplant peeled and sliced
1 – Package of Mozzarella Sliced
½ lb Virginia Ham sliced medium
½ Pack of Sliced Button Mushrooms
½ Onion Sliced
½ Stick of Butter
½ Cup of Red Cooking Wine
2 Eggs
Sauce:
Using the Vegetable Oil that you used to fry the venison and eggplant, add in the onion, mushroom and garlic. Fry until the onion is translucent at which point you will add the butter. Once the butter is melted add in the cooking wine and stir, allowing the sauce to reduce down a bit.
By this time, the Mozzarella should be melted over the Sorrentino. Take it out of the oven, plate it and spoon the sauce over the wonderful creation and it is ready to serve.
