Analyze, monitor, and manage company’s daily cash position. Determine procurement of funds and monitors investments and collections.

Prepare, analyze, and process electronic payment requests.

Prepare daily, monthly, and annual cash forecast to support borrowing or investing decisions.

Monitor compliance covenants in debt agreements. Prepare monthly and quarterly compliance certificates and provide
covenant forecasting upon request.

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks.

Analyze credit of pipeline and gas suppliers. Make recommendations as necessary.

Make regular reports to the VP, CFO and Treasurer.

Participate in other Accounting, Treasury and Financial Analysis projects as requested.

Minimum Qualifications

Possession of a bachelors’ degree in civil or mechanical engineering, computer science, electrical engineering or other related technical degree, or related technical field or equivalent.

Good organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate data, compile statistics and prepare reports, graphs,
tables and charts.

Good communication skills, both oral and written, in order to deal effectively with a variety of interpersonal relationships and situations.

Ability to learn various personal computer business and engineering software applications presently used by the Company.

Ability to obtain Professional Engineering (PE) license.

Must maintain a positive work atmosphere through effective interactions and communications with co-workers, customers, and management.

Must maintain a safe environment for co-workers, customers, and the public through adherence to established safety standards and timely reporting of potential hazards.

Must adhere to Company policies and procedures related to the code of business ethics, compliance, responsible use of Company assets, and all applicable state and federal laws.

Valid drivers’ license pursuant to company policy.

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks.

Able to work in a standard office environment. Work involves sitting at a desk and operating personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Duties may also involve occasional walking, bending, stooping, and lifting of up to 25 lbs. unassisted. Travel to various worksites may also be required, depending on assignment. May review interior and exterior work locations that involve hazardous environments requiring personal protective equipment and some physical discomfort due to temperature, dust and noise. May be required to work on ladders and in adverse weather conditions.

Fundamental duties will be assignment to the Gas Distribution Department for the construction, maintenance and operation of the gas distribution system. Assignment to the gas production plants for the operation and maintenance of these facilities. This position is heavy laboring intensive and shall involve working outside in all kinds of weather. This position falls under the Department of Transportation drug testing requirements.Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.

Possess a general aptitude and skill for mechanical work.

Possess and maintain a valid Class B Massachusetts Commercial Driver’s license based on the requirements of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or the State where the employee resides within (12) months from the first day in the roster.

Possess and maintain a Massachusetts Hoisting Engineer’s license for operation of a backhoe (2B) within (6) months from the first day in the roster.

Pass all required Operator Qualification Tests.

Must reside within a specified geographic area in accordance with UWUA / B.U.W. Local Union 340 contractual agreement.

Be available to respond to overtime work and emergency calls.
