WEC Energy Group Executive Chair Gale Klappa has joined the Wisconsin television program Project Pitch It as a judge for the 2022 season.
The Shark Tank-style show welcomes Wisconsin entrepreneurs to pitch their businesses and products to prominent business leaders and potentially earn project support. “It’s really an honor to be part of the ongoing effort to promote job creation and help entrepreneurs succeed in Wisconsin,” Klappa told American Gas.
In addition to judging the pitches, Klappa is helping to mentor several of the entrepreneurs. “These entrepreneurs have great ideas and a desire to succeed. Hopefully some of the lessons I’ve learned over the years in strategic planning and leadership will help them as they grow their companies,” Klappa said.
Project Pitch It is returning for a sixth season in March. Every entrepreneur who appears on the show receives one of three awards, with the combined value of the weekly awards worth more than $36,000. The show is presented by the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee’s Lubar Entrepreneurship Center.
