CenterPoint Energy Inc. named Christopher Foster executive vice president and chief financial officer, replacing Jason Wells, who continues as president and chief operating officer. Foster was formerly executive vice president and CFO at PG&E Corp.
Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation appointed Christopher M. Capone as the company’s new president and CEO, taking over for Charles Freni. Frank La Rocca was also appointed the new chief technology officer. Most recently, he served as the director of shared services and outsourced run for Consolidated Edison.
Travas Deal was named CEO of Colorado Springs Utilities, overseeing operations of the utility’s electric, natural gas, water and wastewater services.
At NiSource Inc., Shawn Anderson, senior vice president of risk and chief strategy officer, has been named executive vice president and CFO, replacing Donald Brown. Brown was named executive vice president and chief innovation officer, replacing Melody Birmingham, who was appointed executive vice president at NiSource and group president of NiSource Utilities, leading the company’s six-state gas and electric business segments. The company also appointed Michael Luhrs as executive vice president of strategy and risk and chief commercial officer. Luhrs was most recently senior vice president of customer experience and strategy at Alliant Energy Corp.
At Puget Sound Energy Inc., Andrew Wappler, chief customer officer, and Margaret Hopkins, senior vice president of shared services and chief information officer, have retired.
Spire Inc. announced President and CEO Suzanne Sitherwood will retire at the end of 2023.
UGI Corporation named Sean O’Brien as CFO, succeeding Ted Jastrzebski, who is retiring.
