Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. announced the appointment of Arthur Kacprzak as chief financial officer; he assumed the role upon the retirement of CFO David Bronicheski.
Consolidated Edison Inc.’s board of directors has elected Tim Cawley as Con Edison’s president and CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2021. Cawley will also serve as CEO of Con Edison’s principal subsidiary, Consolidated Edison Company of New York Inc. John McAvoy will retire as president and CEO at the end of 2020 and will remain chairman of the board. Matt Ketschke, currently senior vice president of customer energy solutions, will be promoted to president of Consolidated Edison of New York effective Jan. 1.
At DTE Energy, Lynette Dowler was appointed vice president of public affairs and president of the DTE Foundation. Dowler succeeds Nancy Moody, who is retiring after 32 years of service with DTE.
Fortis Inc. announced the retirement of Barry Perry, president and CEO, from Fortis and the board, effective Dec. 31. As of Jan. 1, 2021, David Hutchens, chief operating officer of Fortis and CEO of UNS Energy, will succeed Perry and join the board. Susan Gray was named CEO of UNS Energy and its subsidiaries, also effective Jan. 1.
PG&E Corp. appointed Chris Foster, vice president of treasury and investor relations, as interim chief financial officer. Foster replaces Jason Wells, who joined CenterPoint Energy Inc. as executive vice president and CFO.
Russ Girling has retired as president and CEO at TC Energy Corporation and from its board of directors effective Dec. 31. François Poirier, chief operating officer, president, power & storage and Mexico, succeeds Girling as president and CEO and will join the board as of Jan. 1, 2021.
