Beacon College (Leesburg, Florida)
Beacon College is a private college founded in 1989 and exclusively serves students diagnosed with LD, ADHD, AD, and ASD. It is the first accredited institution in the United States that offers bachelor’s degree programs to students who learn differently. The campus offers 176 beds. First-year students may choose between two residence halls: the New Residence Hall offers both shared and private rooms in clusters, while RAP Hall offers private rooms in five room clusters. Sophomores, juniors, and seniors may choose apartment units among three buildings (Beacon Commons, Village Apartments, and Woodward Apartments) that offer a variety of one-, two-, or three-bedroom units.
