This partnership allows a discount every time.”

Beyond discounted fuel, Love’s can make your road trip easier, more efficient and a lot safer. For starters, all Love’s are open and staffed 24 hours a day, and they feature large, well-lit parking areas, which makes them a secure place to stop. Most locations have dog parks, showers, laundry facilities and Amazon pickup locations. If you’re traveling by RV, you’ll find that many Love’s offer hookups for water and power as well as dump stations and some of the larger RV stops include recreational amenities like pickleball courts.
“The Love’s Connect App makes it easy to map out the closest Love’s along your route that has the amenities you need,” says Woods. “Love’s is the only travel stop that offers booking, check-in and turning on amenities through your phone so everything is ready to go when you arrive.
Love’s continues to expand across the United States.
Love’s was founded by Tom and Judy Love in 1964 as a single gas station in Watonga, Oklahoma. Over the next 60 years, the Love family expanded both the company’s footprint and store offerings, which included convenience items like bread and milk. The first full-service Love’s Travel Stop opened in 1981 and was a rarity, in that amenities like self-service diesel and gasoline, large parking lots and easy access from the highway allowed it to serve both professional truck drivers and recreational customers. Today, the family-owned company operates 660 locations across 42 states, with 20 being added in 2025.
“As Love’s added locations, many professional drivers used our locations as a home away from home because they knew they’d find what they needed here,” explains Woods. “As we continue to grow, we provide that level of service to all customers, which, in addition to professional drivers, includes the communities where we’re located and individuals and families traveling for work or leisure. Our partnership with AAA supports that goal.”
