Oceania to Launch 180-Day Global Cruise

Sailing across three oceans and 18 seas and distinguished by rare experiences in places ranging from Patagonia to Iceland, Oceania Cruises’ 180-day 2026 Around the World cruise promises to be a true global odyssey. Embarking from Miami on Jan. 6, 2026, the Vista, Oceania’s newest ship, welcomes passengers with 612 luxuriously appointed staterooms and suites, fine-dining venues and famously attentive service. Beginning with a six-week visit to South America, the voyage will traverse the South Pacific before heading to Southeast Asia, India, the Arabian Peninsula and Europe. Oceania’s Mid-Cruise Overland Programs will offer multiday opportunities for in-depth exploration of the cruise’s ports and nearby destinations.

New Beach Club Coming to Cozumel
Royal Caribbean International is planning a new beach club experience, opening in 2026 on the island of Cozumel on Mexico’s Caribbean coast. Royal Beach Club Cozumel is being designed to please activity seekers as well as those who simply want to kick back on the sand. Features are to include swim-up bars, dedicated pools for families and relaxation enthusiasts, private cabanas, and opportunities for kayaking and snorkeling in waters teeming with marine life. Chances to enjoy authentic Mexican flavors will be available in dining venues, a street market, cooking classes and tequila tastings. The second in the cruise line’s new beach club collection, it will follow the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, scheduled to open in The Bahamas in 2025.

Universal Orlando Plans Epic Theme Park Debut
Promising “the next gamechanger for theme park entertainment,” Universal Orlando Resort is gearing up to unveil Universal Epic Universe, its fourth and most ambitious theme park, on May 22, 2025. Dozens of attractions, plus entertainment, dining and shopping options, will be spread throughout five themed worlds: Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter—Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon—Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe. Anchoring the park will be the 500-room Universal Helios Grand Hotel, particularly special with its dedicated entrance to Epic Universe for hotel guests. Universal, which offers discounts and exclusive benefits for AAA Members, is offering a variety of ticket options and vacation packages that include Epic Universe and stays at the new hotel.

Distinctive Ship Deployed to L.A. for Baja Cruises
There will soon be an exciting new way for cruisers sailing out of Los Angeles to enjoy the abundant marine life and stunning desert landscapes of Mexico’s Baja California. Starting in May 2025, Royal Caribbean’s Ovation of the Seas, a 4,905-passenger ship outfitted with a range of amenities—from 17 dining venues to skydiving and surfing simulators—will embark on roundtrip Baja cruises out of the San Pedro World Cruise Terminal. The itineraries range from a three-night cruise calling in Ensenada to a six-night cruise calling in Cabo San Lucas (overnight) as well as Ensenada. An array of onshore options includes ATV excursions through the desert and coastline, whale watching in the Sea of Cortez, catamaran sailings around the iconic El Arco (rock arch) and sea lion colony of Cabo San Lucas, and a visit to the historic town of Todos Santos for a margarita at the legendary Hotel California.

Silversea’s 2026 Collection Boosts Port Time, Deeper Exploration
While in-depth shore experiences have long been emphasized by Silversea, the luxury cruise line’s New Voyages for Summer 2026 collection is raising the bar with longer port times, including more late departures and overnights, and expanded ways to delve into local culture. Epicurean experiences will include cheesemaking in Mykonos, cooking classes with a Michelin-starred chef in Bordeaux and a themed cruise in the Mediterranean during which wine aficionados will learn about the history of grape harvesting. The cruises, with itineraries in the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Alaska and Eastern Canada/New England, will also introduce ports new to Silversea, such as the Italian island of Ponza, known for its grottos, and Antwerp, Belgium, known for diamonds and fine art.
