Utopia of the Seas makes a stop by Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean's private island.
Royal Caribbean
Utopia is defined as an ideal place of perfection, and it’s about to set sail. Among Royal Caribbean Cruise Line’s latest additions, Utopia of the Seas blends the excitement and grandeur of Las Vegas with the thrills of an amusement park, all set against the serene backdrop of the Caribbean. Grab your friends and embark on a weekend adventure for the books.
Deck Bar, Perfect Day At CocoCay; Floating cabana; and Daredevil’s Tower
ROYAL CARIBBEAN
The 18-deck ship is packed with action, including two casinos, five pools and three water slides, plus the longest dry slide at sea, as well as more than 40 bars and restaurants. Don’t worry; despite all the activities, there’s also ample opportunity for kicking back in a scenic overwater cabana or staying cool at the swim-up bar.
Departing from Orlando’s Port Canaveral, Utopia of the Seas’ three-night cruises, dubbed the World’s Biggest Weekend, take you to Perfect Day at CocoCay, a private island in The Bahamas. Open only to Royal Caribbean guests, Perfect Day offers splashing in a wave pool, soaring through the air on a zip line or riding in a massive helium balloon that rises 450 feet. Utopia of the Seas sailings, which begin in summer 2024, also call in Nassau, The Bahamas' capital.
Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas
For families looking for a next-level cruise, newcomer Icon of the Seas launches in January 2024. This ship features six twisting, colorful water slides, including the Frightening Bolt, the tallest water slides at sea, and the Pressure Drop, the first open freefall water slide on a cruise ship. A carousel, arcade and youth programming are intended to keep kids entertained for hours. Family accommodations include a sprawling townhouse equipped with a multilevel slide and private balconies. Icon of the Seas’ itineraries are seven-night journeys from Miami to Eastern or Western Caribbean destinations.
Debuting at the same time as Icon of the Seas, Hideaway Beach at Perfect Day at CocoCay caters to passengers 18 years and older seeking an adults-only escape. Here, DJs play the beats all day, and the swim-up bar keeps things chill.
