The latest wedge offering from Cleveland Golf is dubbed Full-Face because it brings full face, UltiZip grooves to the flagship RTX model. And these grooves, which are made sharper and deeper so they bite harder and better channel debris, cover every millimeter of the face in an effort to maximize spin performance, no matter where a player makes contact with the ball.
Another feature is ZipCore, which sits at the heart of the club and shifts the center of gravity and boosts moment of inertia in ways that enhance stability high and low on the face, for better control and consistency. A high-profile toe is designed to make it easier to open the clubface and slide the club under the golf ball. And the heat treatment process used in the club’s construction improves durability and lengthens the lifespan of the grooves so they perform round after round.
“The new RTX Full-Face maintains the traditional and striking clean look that golfers have come to expect from a Cleveland wedge, all the while adding shot-making creativity with grooves across the entire face,” said Ryan Polanco, general manager at Cleveland Golf. “It’s the perfect complement to the classic RTX ZipCore and delivers exceptional versatility around the greens.”
