The surest sign of what Ecco is looking to accomplish with its new Biom H4 line is the stabilizer that wraps around the foot from the outsole to the midsole, so golfers can make their shots with the firmest possible footing.
But this feature is also designed to give Biom H4 a contemporary look and feel, especially with the “color pops” that this line also possesses.
Of course, these shoes are endowed with several other attributes, such as the premium leather uppers that are protected with Gore-Tex waterproof technology and sit atop the new Ecco MTN Grip outsole, which boasts three zones of traction for what company officials describe as “the ideal blend of stability, durability and rotational support.”
In addition, Biom Natural Motion technology allows the foot to move as naturally and as close to the ground as possible.
The Biom H4 is constructed through a process called FluidForm that bonds the upper and outsole units to create a one-piece shoe without the use of glue or stitching. The result, those same technicians assert, is improved flexibility, durability and a more lightweight construction.
