BEACH CABANA This boutique 115-room TRS Hotel, surrounded by a lush tropical forest, is ideal for guests seeking a tranquil stay, those who are yearning to disconnect, kick back and take in all the stunning water views from every which way. Active clients will love that this area of the Dominican Republic is considered to be one of the top spots for fishing and deep-water diving, with the Cap Cana Marina hosting top-notch fishing tournaments. Itâ€™s about wellness all-around, whether your clients want to partake in some paddle yoga, a sunset spinning class or head out for a day on the water. This elegant, contemporary 540-sq.-ft. suite is just perfect for a honeymooning couple with fab views of the aforementioned marina, a comfy bed, a pillow menu, an expansive double-sink bathroom, modern decor that pays homage to the surroundings and a terrace made for watching all the yachts sail by. In all, there are seven room categories, including the 1,080-sq.-ft. Ambassador Suite Poolside Ocean View with views of the marina and the sea from a terrace equipped with a private jacuzzi, two sunbeds, a hammock and a lounge area. EL GAUCHO REST Given the size of the resort, the number of dining options is impressive (four). We had the opportunity to dine at the toes-in-the-sand Helios Beach Club, where the Med-inspired food was beyond scrumptious, although the views stole the show as itâ€™s located at a far end of the property alongside the stunning waterfront. Another top recommendation is El Gaucho, especially forâ€”you guessed itâ€”meat lovers. Here, diners can savor Argentine bites such as empanadas. Non-beef eaters will be blown away by the many options they, too, have on the menu. We also skipped into the Piacere coffee shop for sweet morsels and that must-have early morning coffee and we swooned over the delicious scent coming from the poolside Grill area, serving made-to-order snacks fresh off the BBQ. LOBBY AREA Your clients will want to while away an afternoon at the Zentropia Palladium Spa & Wellness center and its hydrotherapy circuit, dip into one of the sparkling pools (recommend renting a Balinese bed with personal butler service) and spend some time beachside along the small stretch of shoreline. Other premium experiences include a romantic dinner on the marina, a floating breakfast, exclusive wines and rose petal room decoration accompanied with champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries.
