Hilton Vallarta Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort enhanced its luxury offering for groups in April this year with the addition of the brand’s upscale Enclave room category. Enclave offers exclusive benefits and amenities to guests, including upgraded room categories and enhanced services such as private check-in and a range of in-room perks.
“The Hilton All-Inclusive experience means we’ve thought of everything, so there’s no reason for groups to leave the resort, allowing for even more time to enjoy their stay,” says Colette Baruth, VP and commercial director, All-Inclusive, Hilton. “Additionally, Hilton’s All-Inclusive offerings create a variety of unique opportunities for group members to bond and spend time together outside of their meeting or conference agendas. For example, colleagues can meet up for a drink or meal during their free time without having to worry about who picks up the check.”
Groups staying at Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort can host a unique luxury dining experience at the next-door sister property, Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya. Inspired by the Maya civilization, the hotel’s Mayan Night experience pairs the story of two Mayan gods with a 4-course dinner on the beach beneath the full moon, followed by a fire show to close the night.
“Hilton All-Inclusive Resorts offer an abundance of outdoor activities to meet the evolving needs of today’s group travelers,” says Baruth. “This includes cultural experiences that go beyond the typical dinner and a show, which may include salsa and merengue lessons or a Mayan jewelry-making class, or creative entertainment that enhances their overall hotel experience.”
Hilton Tulum has the largest meeting space in Tulum, featuring a 55,000-sf convention center and a 400-seat auditorium. Groups also have access to the 21,500-sf Conrad Spa, where they can enjoy unique experiences with the in-house shaman as well as sacred cenote ceremonies.
“The ability to relax and reconnect for meeting planners and attendees at Hilton All-Inclusive properties is even easier with the expansion of technologies, including wearable tech bracelets for on-property guests,” says Baruth. “The durable, smart-tech wristband serves as a digital room key while also enabling guests to authorize payments outside of the all-inclusive offerings available on the property, make reservations and communicate with the resort.”
Fiesta Americana has just broken ground on the new Funeeq by Fiesta Americana in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The new all-ages resort will be located next to the adults-only Live Aqua Beach Resort Punta Cana. Set to open late 2024/early 2025, the property will offer close to 500 rooms and will maximize the capacity for groups, as the newbuild will double the existing convention space at the Live Aqua.
Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta All-Inclusive & Spa will be opening its refreshed and renovated meeting space in late summer/early fall. The resort will also be adding a new rooftop bar on top of its Rosato restaurant, set to be completed by end of 2023.
Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun, meanwhile, will add three new restaurants by early summer. Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos is adding a new spa, also set for completion this summer, and Live Aqua San Miguel de Allende Urban Resort has added a new event garden with capacity for several hundred attendees.
“What’s going to surprise planners once they’re on our properties, whether it’s the Resort Collection or the City Collection, is how unique each one is,” says David Manzella, SVP of sales & marketing, Fiesta Americana Hotels & Resorts/Posadas. “Each property and destination is different. One of our biggest selling features is the uniqueness of our properties, and the way we curate and customize the whole experience.”
A unique luxury experience for small to midsize groups is the 10-step hydrotherapy ritual at the Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun. After experiencing the spa’s circuit including aromatherapy steam room, multi-jet shower, ice room and more, groups will enjoy a 7-course meal while being serenaded by three tenors. —Steve Grasso
