The days are getting brighter and with the support of our Corporate Partners, we are seeing the green shoots of great work emerging into a new season.
We have been fortunate to continue working with founding Corporate Partners, including Ella’s Kitchen, Superdry and Spark Etail, throughout a tough year. We are grateful for their ongoing support and look forward to sharing some hands-on experiences with them at Dundreggan in the future.
We love to work with businesses whose values align with our own. We have several new partners who are championing sustainable business practice in a collaborative and often ground-breaking way.
Our new Platinum Partners, Clean Planet Energy, are mavericks of the best kind. These pioneers convert non-recyclable plastics into ultra-clean fuel, with a mission to remove over one million tonnes of plastic from the environment each year. Clean Planet Energy are also encouraging young eco warriors on their rewilding journeys with the launch of Hapsie, an online educational magazine fuelling imaginations and encouraging proactive change.
Keeping us fuelled, this summer we are delighted to be partnering with Glen Lyon Coffee, Scotland’s first carbon-neutral roasters, with a commitment to zero waste that includes 100% compostable coffee bags. Glen Lyon Coffee will be donating £1 from every retail bag of their special True North blend of coffee, giving essential funds to rewilding and habitat restoration.
Based in Scone, ethical underwear company Molke are also big champions of zero waste practices. The ethical underwear brand are passionate about slow fashion and sustainable growth. Their bright and bold swimwear is made with a 100% regenerated nylon yarn, derived from industrial waste including discarded fishing nets and carpet fluff. This yarn not only keeps plastics out of landfill, but is also made without using fossil fuels during production.
On the subject of intimate things, as smaller, more personal weddings become the order of the day, Recycle My Wedding have recently launched a re-sale platform to reduce the impact of wedding waste on the environment. Addressing the constant desire for “new” one-use items in the wedding industry, this online business creates a space where users can buy and sell pre-loved bridal gowns, accessories and decor. Through this, and sister company Rock My Wedding, 10% of every listing fee will be donated to Trees for Life.
We look forward to working with all our partners as we continue to be ground-breaking together.
