The Scottish Rewilding Alliance, of which Trees for Life is a founder member, has produced a series of downloadable cards to explain what rewilding is and what it means for wildlife and people. You can download and share the cards here and you can see below as well.
The cards are the first phase in the Alliance’s work to reach out to people and show that rewilding can really help all of us. Each card focuses on a different theme including:

the thinking behind rewilding and how we need to work with nature and not against it;

how rewilding secures our future by helping to deal with climate change and flood risks;

providing more space for nature will allow wildlife to return to Scotland;

that rewilding creates jobs and enables communities to thrive, especially in remote rural areas;

how time spent in nature is good for our own health and well-being and helps child development too.

We hope that these cards will encourage people to think about their relationship with the natural world and, especially after the Coronavirus crisis, how we need to rethink our relationship with all the other life we share the planet.
