We’re committed to creating nature-rich landscapes that include and support people. Our vision is a living landscape where nature and communities thrive together. Rewilding is a shared journey and we want people to join us on this path of hope and positive action.
Understanding the context of where Dundreggan and our work sits in the community is vital. We’ve been developing our five year management plan for our Dundreggan rewilding estate. Alongside pre-set areas of work and statutory obligations, there is also scope to think about our broader vision for the estate.
To gather thoughts and ideas from local people, we hosted community drop-in consultations throughout October to involve people directly in shaping their landscape’s future.
It’s been brilliant to learn more about local needs and desires around volunteering opportunities, employment, cultural heritage and access to the estate. We are in the process of compiling and reviewing all of the feedback which will be used to enhance our developing management plans.
