Your donation makes all the difference in the development and delivery of pioneering new rewilding initiatives - from Lynx to Scotland to Affric Highlands, and the many other projects featured in this issue of Caledonia Wild. It takes less than a minute to make a donation, and you choose whether to make your support regular or just this one time.
Dundreggan has been a home for rewilding for 15 years. It’s where many of our volunteers have helped to restore the Caledonian forest through volunteer weeks and working on the nursery. Today, you can come and visit us too. An Spiris is our brand new accommodation available to book year-round. Meaning ‘the roost’ in Gaelic, An Spiris offers visitors twin, en-suite bedrooms and a communal living room; it's an ideal base to explore Dundreggan, the Rewilding Centre, and the wider Affric Highlands area.
Forest restoration is a vital part of our mission to rewild the Scottish Highlands. A healthy landscape is one of variety; a mosaic of different habitats supporting a diversity of wildlife, bird life, plant life, and human life. Woodlands are a missing piece in this mosaic which, with your help, we can bring back.
Did you know there is a shortage of suitable native tree seeds to help restore natural forests across Scotland, especially in the Highlands? You can help us turn this around by supporting our Wild Seed appeal.
