It’s always good business sense to take advantage of the opportunities made possible by leasing. Whereas a retail purchase may be a one-time transaction, a lease is a relationship that brings a customer back again and again. Well-maintained off-lease vehicles can feed your Honda Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle inventory, creating more sales opportunities. Honda Financial Services has developed programs and incentives to give customers more leasing options during this time of low inventory and fierce competition.
In this issue of NewsLink, we feature two dealerships that are succeeding with leasing in very different markets. Woodland Hills Honda in Woodland Hills, California, is a store with a long leasing history. Its staff values leasing as a means of building long-term customer relationships. Our other dealer-focused article looks at Honda of Owings Mills in Owings Mills, Maryland, which in recent years has risen to become the number-one Honda dealership for leasing in the state of Maryland.
Two other articles look at how Honda Financial Services has tailored its leasing options to support dealerships. The first provides an overview of customer options, such as lease extensions and 48-month leasing. The second takes a deep dive into the Lease to Retail Rollover program, which gives customers the option of certifying their lease vehicle buyouts.
We also have a short article about our redesign of the communications we send a customer as their end of term approaches, aiding them with the return process and encouraging them to lease or purchase their next vehicle at the dealership where the lease originated. Another story provides a quick update on the integration of additional dealer management systems with our iDeal electronic contracting platform.
Thank you for your partnership in bringing Honda products and services to our customers. As always, we are dedicated to your ongoing success.
