Hello LTEN community, and happy September! As summer winds down and we shift into a new season, I’m still energized by the incredible momentum we built together at this year’s annual conference. The energy, the ideas, the insights and the conversations continue to echo in my mind — and I hope in yours as well.
One message that resonated deeply with many of us came from LTEN Board President Laura Last during her opening keynote Tuesday morning: “You own your own development.” A simple statement, but one that places the power — and the responsibility — squarely in our own hands.
The truth is, no one is more invested in your growth than you are. However, LTEN is here to support that journey, every step of the way.
This fall, LTEN is delighted to offer a range of live and virtual programs designed to meet you wherever you are in your professional learning journey. Whether you’re just starting out, advancing into a leadership role or looking to sharpen your strategic edge, there’s something for you:
September 8–10 in Raleigh, NC | December 8–10 in Bridgewater, NJ
This foundational workshop is built for those new to training or seeking to strengthen their core facilitation and instructional design skills. Through hands-on practice and feedback, you’ll build the confidence and competence to lead engaging, impactful training sessions.
September 9–11 in Raleigh, NC
Ready to take your facilitation to the next level? The master’s course builds on the core program with advanced techniques in audience engagement, coaching and managing challenging learner dynamics — perfect for experienced trainers looking to elevate their delivery.
October 15–16 in Philadelphia, PA
Based on the acclaimed Six Disciplines of Breakthrough Learning model, this course is for professionals looking to design and deliver learning that creates real business impact. You’ll walk away with tools to align training with business goals and drive measurable outcomes.
September 10, 11, 17 & 18 – Virtual (4 half-day sessions)
We’ve reimagined this course to provide even more value. In addition to core content on defining and interpreting key metrics, this updated version includes extended time with the instructor and a new capstone project with 1:1 coaching. Participants will create a personalized measurement strategy tailored to their L&D function and receive direct feedback through a one-on-one session with expert facilitator Steven Just, Ed.D. This is a must-attend program for anyone serious about demonstrating the impact of learning.
Because we know that learning also happens through connections, we’re pairing these certificate programs with LTEN Networking Mixers. We’ll bring members together in casual, energizing events where you can meet peers, share insights and build lasting professional relationships.
Sept. 9 – Raleigh, NC
Oct. 15 – Philadelphia, PA
Dec. 9 – Bridgewater, NJ
I encourage you to lean into the message that Laura shared — take charge of your own development. Choose a program that excites you, connect with this amazing community and invest in your growth.
LTEN is here to support you with world-class learning, connections and inspiration. Let’s keep the momentum going.
See you this fall!
