LAST TIME OUT: The IronPigs went back and forth against SWB on Friday night and ultimately came up just short in a 6-5 loss, their third consecutive defeat. Dalton Guthrie had an RBI triple and Vimael Machin added an RBI double for two runs in the first. John Hicks drove in three with a bases loaded walk and two-run double. Two runs in the eighth for SWB proved to be the difference as a 5-4 lead morphed into a 6-5 loss.
TODAY’S OPPONENT: RHP Mitch Spence goes game one for SWB while Nick Ramirez starts the tail end of the twin bill in a bullpen game. Spence fired five shutout innings in his first outing of the year against Buffalo on April 2. Ramirez hasn't allowed a run in four innings over three appearences, picking up a save.
KODY KALL UP: INf Kody Clemens was recalled by the Phillies today and will be starting at 1B in the Phillies home opener against the Reds. Clemens was acquired this offseason from the Tigers as part of the Gregory Soto trade. He is the second IronPig to get promoted to Phila- delphia this season, joining McKinley Moore.
CHOMP CHOMP: Known to many as Gator, Dalton Guthrie has been en fuego since returning to the IronPigs. He homered and had two hits on Thursday and is now 7-for-17 to begin the season with a 1.230 OPS. Guthrie has a hit in each game of this series.

SCHOOLBOY Q(SAR): Acquired from Tampa Bay on March 20 for cash considerations, Jordan Qsar has made a strong first impression with the IronPigs. Qsar picked up his first hit of the season on Saturday at Rochester and followed that up with a two-run homer and three runs scored during the home opener. The homer left his bat at 107MPH and went 406 feet.
PRIDE OF DELCO: In his homecoming as an IronPigs native, Lansdowne and Delco native Jim Haley showed out for friends and family in the stands. He racked up two doubles, including a two-run double to start the scoring in the second inning of Tuesday's game. Haley followed that up with another two-hit game on Wednesday including his first 'Pigs homer. Haley went to Penn State before being drafted by Tampa Bay and playing six years in their minor league system. Haley signed as a MiLB FA this offseason with Philadelphia.
