TT Technologies
TT Technologies offers a pipe rammer and bentonite system package for oil and gas pipeline installation projects. The pipeliner package features an 18-inch diameter Grundoram Goliath pneumatic pipe ramming system and a Grundomudd 500 bentonite mixing/delivery system. During the ramming process, the rammer is attached to the rear of the casing. The tool then drives the pipe through the ground with repeated percussive blows. The Goliath rammer installs steel pipes and casings from 24 to 56 inches. The rammer can also be used for the slick-bore process, installing a bore pipe, which, when removed, pulls the product pipe into place. Ramming provides accurate installation of casing in a wide range of soil without surface slump, making it ideal for installations under railways and roads. The pipeliner package is also useful in HDD assist and rescue applications. www.tttechnologies.com
LeakVISION
LeakVISION offers an in-pipe leakage detection sensor, mounted to a robot base or push-rod camera system. The system is used to inspect in-pipe features for leakage from joints, connections and other areas. The system was developed to decrease excavations, which require street work and disruptions. The system’s technology makes use of thermography to analyze and highlight leakage by directly scanning the pipeline and pinpointing the area. This allows teams to make targeted repairs with pin-point accuracy the first time. The inspection collects large amounts of data, and the related risk model can use site and network data to help manage pipeline risks in a different way to the MRPS that prioritize replacement. The LeakVISION system also comes equipped with a display monitor for live pipe viewing. www.synthotech.com
Emerson
Emerson released the Rosemount 802 Wireless Multi-Discrete Input or Output Transmitter, which has eight discrete input/output (I/O) channels, each one configurable as an input or an output. WirelessHART capability allows the transmitter to connect to a wireless gateway, which can in turn link to a host, such as a control system or asset management system, via a wired connection. This allows the host to monitor and control assets remotely over a WirelessHART network. Power options include 10-30 volt direct current external line power or an Emerson SmartPower module. The Rosemount 802 transmitter is certified according to the following safety standards: ATEX Zone 2 Intrinsically Safe, USA Division 2 Non-Incendive and Zone 2 Intrinsically Safe, Canada Division 2 Non-Incendive and Zone 2 Intrinsically Safe, and IECEx Zone 2 Intrinsically Safe. www.Emerson.com
NDT Global
NDT Global presents its OPTIX Data Visualization and Insights Platform, providing pipeline operators with an intuitive, cloud-based dashboard to visualize all inline inspection (ILI) data in one accessible location. Digitization of the final inspection report, combined with the ease of filtering and arranging relevant data, allows operators to better understand their ILI inspection results and make more informed decisions to ensure the integrity of their pipelines. The platform provides a comprehensive view of pipeline conditions not previously available, bringing together results from many inspection runs. www.ndt-global.com
Case
CASE Construction Equipment expanded its urban construction line with the release of its 580EV, an electric backhoe loader. The backhoe loader will soon be followed by the commercial availability of two additional EV machines — the CX25EV 2.5-metric ton mini-excavator and the CL36EV 3.6-metric ton compact wheel loader. Powered by a 400-volt, 71-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery platform that’s charged with the same type of Level 2 J1772 adapter found in automotive EVs, the new electric backhoe loader is designed to deliver up to eight hours of operational run time on a single charge, depending on the application. The battery platform also uses an advanced thermal management system with system-specific cooling circuits to better regulate temperatures and help maintain performance in hot or cold conditions. www.case.com
Mission Secure
Mission Secure released its Sentinel 5.0 platform, enabling Zero Trust security architectures for critical infrastructure. The platform provides context-aware cybersecurity policy monitoring and enforcement for operational technology systems. Sentinel 5.0, Mission Secure launches a platform that allows operators to define and enforce granular policies based on a wide range of inputs, including network traffic, attempted remote access, asset firmware versions and vulnerabilities, and the actual digital or analog signal generated by physical devices. While the Sentinel 5.0 platform includes standard capabilities, the platform’s core component is a policy engine that enables OT-specific workflows. www.missionsecure.com
