Aurora Energy Services appointed contracts and procurement specialist Katie Jordan to its management team as chief commercial officer. She joined the company after serving at TechnipFMC as supply chain manager.
Sempra appointed Anya Weaving and Kevin Sagara to the company's board of directors. Weaving brings a background in oil and gas investment banking and previous role as a chief financial officer to Sempra. Sagara has experience in both regulated utility and non-regulated energy infrastructure operations, including safety, regulatory, M&A, and other legal and governance areas. As a corporate attorney, Sagara played a key role in the merger that created Sempra in 1998.
Norclamp appointed Christian Rosnes as its vice president, in response to the increasing need for maintenance solutions in the subsea pipeline repair segment, and Norclamp’s growing market share. He joined Norclamp after six years as business development manager for Interwell, the last three of which he spent in Calgary, Canada.

OLI Systems, a chemistry and process simulation, has been awarded a Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). This award will enable the development of OLI’s CO₂ Transport Asset Integrity Model, a solution addressing the critical challenge of ensuring pipeline safety in carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) projects.

The INGAA Foundation Board of Directors elected Kim Tarr, Vice President of Field Operations at Boardwalk Pipelines, as the chair of the organization and Dave Coffin, chief commercial office for Evraz Inc. North America, to serve as the Foundation’s vice chair for a one-year term. Tarr serves as Boardwalk Pipelines’ vice president of Field Operations.
Mersedeh Akhoondan is joining the Materials Performance (MP) team as technical editor to replace Jack Tinnea, MP’s long-time technical editor. Tinnea is retiring in April 2025. In this role, she will be responsible for selecting and reviewing MP’s technical articles, collaborating with authors, members, and the magazine’s editorial advisory board to provide readers with timely and accurate technical content. Dr. Akhoondan has over 15 years of experience in corrosion control and condition assessment.
The Plastics Pipe Institute, Inc. (PPI) announced that Donnie Johnson has joined the association as its new Director of Sustainability & Advocacy. The position was created as a result of the growing membership’s desire to increase PPI’s contributions to public policy and legislative initiatives with a focus on sustainability and resiliency plus government advocacy.
