Nelly Jefferson has been named by Avangrid as the chief information officer. She has more than 25 years of experience in the information technology field and previously led technology for RWE Clean Energy and ConEdison. In her new role as CIO, Jefferson will oversee all Avangrid information technology strategies and associated activities across the company’s entire enterprise, including IT applications, infrastructure and business operations.
EnerMech promoted Ruairi Kerr to global senior vice president, Business Development. He joined the company in July 2020 as business development director for the Middle East & Caspian, expanding his responsibilities in May 2022 when Africa was added to his portfolio.

Clay Eubanks, vice chairman of Takeuchi, is celebrating four decades with the company. In September 1984, Eubanks was a college student who began working part time in Takeuchi’s warehouse near Atlanta, cleaning up the facility and pulling parts from inventory. Over the next 40 years, Eubanks took on more and more responsibility, honing his knowledge of the equipment industry and rising through the ranks to his current position.
EnerMech said it has been awarded two significant pipeline pre-commissioning contracts in offshore East Malaysia, marking a substantial milestone in the expansion of its critical pipeline and subsea activities within the region. The contracts have been secured with two tier-one contractor clients, both of which are supporting the same multinational operator’s developments in the region. The first scope of work involves pre-commissioning operations at a depth of 4,265 feet (1,300 meters) in deep water, and the second scope takes place in shallow waters.
