For more than 100 yr, Hydrocarbon Processing has provided the global hydrocarbon processing industry (HPI) with the latest advancements in processing technologies, maintenance, safety, engineering and construction, and know-how to improve and enhance refining and petrochemical plant operations. The publication, written for the industry by the industry, has been instrumental in disseminating ideas across the globe that have ultimately made the processing industries safer and more efficient, sustainable and profitable.
Over the past couple of years, Hydrocarbon Processing has prepared the ground for, and invested in, our digital offerings and how we deliver our content. Through considerable industry research and audience feedback, we are experiencing a clear demand for a more digitally oriented product.
With all that in mind, Hydrocarbon Processing will now deliver all content through digital platforms. This includes monthly issues of the publication, as well as through e-newsletters and social media channels. This natural evolution of the way we deliver information, industry trends and technology advancements to our global readership will provide our audience an enhanced pathway to the latest topics industry professionals are seeking.
Digitally-oriented content. This issue of Hydrocarbon Processing is the first iteration of our new digital issue platform. No longer will readers have to click through pages to gain the crucial information they need to perform their jobs at the highest level; instead, each article can be scrolled through as if you were reading it on a webpage. The platform also contains easy navigational tools to locate specific articles or sections readers are interested in viewing.
The next step. Although the way we deliver crucial technical content to the global HPI has evolved, Hydrocarbon Processing will never abandon the insightful and timely technical articles and case studies that are advancing the industry—this has been the foundation of the publication since its inception, and that will never change.
