Class of 2024, during your time at IMPACT you’ve learned, helped each other, supported each other through challenges, and together you successfully worked through this amazing early college high school experience that is IMPACT.
In these 4 years you have earned your high school diplomas, numerous college credits, and associate degrees, but you are taking away so much more. You’ve learned how to face challenges and overcome them. You’ve learned how to express yourselves, advocate for yourselves, and appreciate each other’s individuality. And I hope you have learned that you are resilient and destined for great things.
It all comes down to YOU - you were motivated to apply and to attend IMPACT and you’ve successfully made it here to graduation. YOU have become a catalyst for creating positive generational change in your families and in our community. YOU (with the encouragement, help, and support of your families) have already started a path that will change your future, the future of your children, and the futures of their children. Be proud of what YOU have accomplished and continue to strive for success wherever your next steps take you.
Graduates, I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to get to know you, some of you needed tough love to get you here to this day, some of you were on it from the minute you started here, some of you emerged as leaders in various areas of our campus life, and each of you is very special in your own way. You each have gifts and talents that will take you where you want to go in life. You are each unique and special and we are proud of you and the legacy you leave behind here at IMPACT.
Think about how much you’ve all grown and matured since starting this journey. You’ve been through trials and challenges, difficult times and amazing times, and here we are now, together, celebrating this accomplishment, YOUR accomplishment. This is the end of one chapter in your lives; start the next one with pride and positivity. Take care of your business, know that you have it in you to reach your goals, and remember that you are writing your own story every day, so make it a good one! We are always here for you, and we believe in you! Class of 2024, congratulations, you did it!!!
Be kind, be courageous, and always strive to be the best version of yourself,
