If you’ve noticed the cool ads with lightning flashes, you’ve seen that Callaway’s Paradym driver comes in a limited-edition, all-black Night Mode model.
The Callaway Customs Night Mode driver – available only at retailers in standard and Triple Diamond in 9- or 10.5-degrees for $700 – features all of the tech packed into the original Paradym models, with a clubhead profile that’s sleeker and darker. The limited-edition drivers have proved to be so popular that they sold out of stock on digital channels.
Callaway introduced Paradym this year to offer what it calls a “complete shift in performance” that doesn’t trade distance for forgiveness. Engineered for all skill levels to promote high launch and low spin along with a neutral ball flight, the refined Paradym shape has high MOI and adjustable perimeter weighting using a 15-gram sliding weight to dial in an average of 12 yards of shot-shape correction.
The 360 Carbon Chassis eliminates titanium from the body, with a triaxial carbon crown and forged carbon sole that is 44 percent lighter than a titanium chassis. This weight savings is repositioned both forward to enhance ball speed, and toward the back of the clubhead for increased forgiveness.
Paired with Callaway’s face cup technology – optimized to enhance speed, launch, spin and downrange dispersion – and a forged titanium face that provides higher energy transfer to the ball, Paradym provides what Callaway hails as “our best combination of distance, forgiveness and adjustability.”
