Three golf buddies decided to develop a “fun, light-hearted, yet classic” men’s golf apparel and lifestyle brand. The result is Player2, which in its first year has expanded its polo line and launched a premium performance hoodie.
The new Player2 collection, with polos available immediately, uses proprietary fabrics inspired by a combination of traditional design and modern technology.
“Our designers looked to timeless and classic,” said A.J. Romeo, one Player2’s three co-founders along with David Petrie and Bill McGarry. “We set out to expand our polo portfolio by adding more colorways and styles that can be worn on the course, at the office, on the beach, or at dinner. We are especially excited about the new Player2 premium performance hoodie, which comes in three colorways.”
The Drop Another polo features a four-way stretch technology for better mobility and uses Player2’s “Brrr° Triple Chill Effect” technology, which includes cooling minerals, active wicking and rapid drying. It retails for $100 and comes in two colorways (national white and sunny blue), highlighting a repeatable Player2 brand mark.
In time for autumn’s cooler weather on Sept. 1, Player2 introduces its first premium hoodie with four-way stretch that combines performance, style and comfort all in one. It features a two-pocket front with the brand’s hero blue brand accents and a silicone brand mark on the left sleeve. Designers eliminated the draw strings to avoid distractions during the golf swing. Available in three colorways – midnight sky (navy), island fog (dark gray) and island mist (light heather gray) – Player2’s premium hoodie retails for $140.
