As more recreational golfers enjoy the health benefits of walking while they play, one way to relieve the physical strain of carrying a heavy golf bag is to let an electric caddie transport the clubs for you.
MGI Golf has released two new models in its Zip lineup of remote-controlled electric caddies in 2024 – the workhorse Zip Navigator AT (all terrain) and affordable Zip X1 – both designed to let golfers focus on the game and enjoy the walk.
The new model MGI Zip Navigator AT ($1,595) is packed with features including a newly designed screen, a wider range of speed options and a new 24-volt “36-hole” lithium battery for the twin 230-watt calibrated motors. With MGI’s patented gyroscope Straight Tracker technology, it is designed with independent swiveling front wheels with all-terrain tread for added strength and stability on even hilly courses and a full directional remote control for left, right, forward, reverse and downhill speed control. It has a fully foldable rear fifth wheel for added stability.
Bonus accessories include drink, umbrella and scorecard holders as well as a multi-purpose clip.
The new 2024 MGI Zip X1 ($699) offers a smooth and quiet ride with variable-speed control and battery indication and a 230-watt motor. It has a fixed front wheel and fully foldable rear fourth wheel for added stability.
MGI Zip Series electric buggies – which fold compactly for ease of carrying and stowing – are ideally suited to fit cart bags. Not all stand/carry bags are compatible.
