Honoring its brand roots, TaylorMade delivers The Copper Club – a trio of modern options featuring an aged copper finish and retro logos.
The Copper Club includes the P770 and P790 irons (left- and right-handed) and an all-new BRNR Mini Driver.
The P770 irons (available exclusively online) feature a forged hollow body construction with a soft 8620 carbon steel body paired with a thin forged 4140 steel face and Thru-Slot Speed Pocket. The P790 irons (available at retail outlets) are equipped with an advanced thick-thin back wall construction and designed to have a larger sweet spot.
Both P Series iron lines ($1,499.99 per 4-PW set) feature vintage Golf Pride TaylorMade Victory Copper grip and the 1980s TaylorMade logo with an aged copper finish designed to mature over time.
“As club designers, we wanted to have fun with the P Series and harken back to TaylorMade’s heritage,” said Matt Bovee, TaylorMade’s director of product creation. “We want to elevate the perception of our brand when it comes to craftsmanship, and these irons have the feel of being both vintage and having that high-end craftsmanship. That is why we paid attention to all of the little details, even all the way down to the finish and the original recipe of the Golf Pride Victory Grip to make a unique throwback product.”
The BRNR Mini Driver Copper ($449.99) draws inspiration from the iconic late-’90s Burner drivers. A combination of carbon fiber, titanium and steel creates the BRNR Mini’s sound, feel and performance.
