The TSR2+ 14.5-degree 3-wood offers another loft option to Titleist’s popular TSR fairway lineup.
Designed based on feedback from tour players, TSR2+ fairways offer a larger profile and a taller face than TSR fairway models with a low, deep CG. The result is a longer, more forgiving, tee-biased 3-wood that is still easy to launch and playable off the turf.
Previously a popular tour-only option – and in the bag of 2022 NCAA individual champion Gordon Sargent – the 14.5-degree TSR2+ head is now available (right-handed only) in golf shops along with a 13-degree model.
“This is an absolute rocket, I love this thing,” said Will Zalatoris, who has played with both the 13- and 14.5-degree models. “It’s the best 3-wood I’ve ever had. It’s pretty cool to be able to have something besides driver that I can hit off the tee and basically hit it as far as I want. And then if I need to hit high and soft into greens, I can do that as well.”
The TSR2+ ($349) features an open-hosel construction, with excess weight found high and toward the heel of the clubhead removed, allowing engineers to reposition weight and make improvements to essential areas of performance.
