Adidas opted to “amplify” its game with an all-new design and innovative tech for its CodeChaos 22 performance spikeless golf shoe.
The CodeChaos 22 model’s distinctive silhouette features a wraparound twist-grip outsole which now expands across the heel and forefoot while also going higher on the sidewall for improved traction and performance. The integrated support adds stability without added weight.
A revamped upper offers a bold design aesthetic made with recycled materials, combining a multi-layer performance textile with a thin polyurethane film that offers improved performance with stain resistance and a waterproof warranty.
“CodeChaos truly disrupted the golf footwear market when we first introduced the franchise in 2020,” said Masun Denison, global footwear director at Adidas Golf. “With this being the first all-new revamp, we challenged ourselves to build upon that disruptive mindset, so with CodeChaos 22 we went even bolder in both aesthetics and performance technologies.”
As with previous CodeChaos models, it still features full-length “Boost” cushioning technology for added comfort with every step.
A new BOA lacing version is also part of the lineup for men and women, featuring a new closure system with technical overlapping panels underneath a zipper-shroud construction, giving golfers a customizable fit to provide enhanced support throughout the foot.
The line kicked off this summer with new colorways, including a limited-edition gray, white and black version and several unique earth tones available only online. The laced model retails for $160, and the BOA version lists for $200.
