The new lightweight Brava driver shaft by Breakthrough Golf promises to deliver more power and consistency on every swing regardless of swing speed or driver model.
The Brava driver shaft is designed for maximum ball speed and smash factor because it delivers more center strikes and a better face angle. In third-party head-to-head testing, Brava was up to 10 yards longer with up to a 60-percent tighter dispersion than other top-performing premium driver shafts on the market.
More center strikes, accuracy and longer drives is an enticing combination of features.
“This has been in development for a while, and we are absolutely thrilled with the performance,” said Barney Adams, the CEO and founder of Breakthrough Golf. “What golfer doesn’t want to hit more good shots? We started best-performance attributes in our Stability shafts and let that inspire us to develop a world-class driver.”
The Brava shaft is designed with what BGT calls “Speedflite NRG technology” – which minimizes lag to allow more explosion off the face – using premium Toray carbon fiber, which is 10 times the strength of steel at a fraction of its weight. This combination translates to less energy needed when swinging and results in a more stable driver head for more distance and tighter ball dispersion.
The 46-inch shaft comes in three flexes – A-75, 46 grams; R-85, 50 grams; and S-95, 54 grams – and retails for $399.99.
