Mizuno’s suite of JPX One metalwoods are designed to redefine ball speed, forgiveness, and feel by using the first “Nanoalloy” face technology.
The JPX One driver features Nanoalloy, which utilizes microscopic polymer dispersion to produce a face that dynamically alters its elasticity under impact. The result is a material that stores and releases more energy at impact than traditional titanium or composite constructions, promising to deliver unprecedented ball speeds across a wider area of the face.
This nanotech breakthrough pairs with a face up to 0.35mm thinner than previous generations, expanding the high-speed rebound zone by more 15 percent versus the Mizuno ST-Max. In robotic testing, JPX One outperformed leading competitors for both ball speed and carry, producing faster, longer, and more consistent results from every impact location.
The JPX One driver ($600) features a slightly larger footprint for higher stability and straighter ball flight, while the JPX One Select model ($600) delivers a more compact, tour-preferred shape with a neutral-to-fade bias. Both include adjustable weighting and quick-switch hosel systems to fine-tune launch and spin.
The JPX One fairways (14 to 24 degrees; $350) introduce a re-engineered “Cortech” chamber that strategically varies the internal gap between the sole and chamber wall to increase face flexion towards the toe and heel, amplifying energy transfer across the hitting surface. Each head features a wrap-around composite crown that saves weight high in the structure, lowering the center of gravity for higher launch and reduced spin. The new sole refines turf interaction to produce cleaner strikes and more consistent ball speed from a variety of lies.
The JPX One hybrids (19, 22, 25 and 28 degrees; $280) take the same design philosophy and tech as the fairways and apply it to a more compact, iron-replacement shape. The waffle crown structure enhances face stability and enables the reposition of discretionary mass lower and deeper for optimal launch and spin control.
