With everything becoming “smarter” these days, the last place you may have expected to encounter smart technology was in the strap of your golf bag. Well, the golf manufacturers at Stitch and Bushnell have a surprise on that front.
Stitch and Bushnell collaborated on creating the first-of-its-kind smart golf bag strap embedded with technology to enhance your walk and your game.
“This isn’t just a strap – it’s a game-changing experience,” said Brad King, CEO of Stitch Golf. “We saw an opportunity to integrate smart tech into the most overlooked part of a golfer’s gear, and we took it to a whole new level. What no one else has, now everyone is going to want.”
The Stitch Link Strap ($350) – crafted from its signature touring fabric and featuring ergonomically padded single or double straps – incorporates a built-in Bushnell Wingman Mini Bluetooth speaker, which allows you to stream a music playlist and receive automatic yardage updates between shots.
It also includes a magnetically attached Bushnell Phantom 3 Slope Handheld GPS, delivering real-time, slope-adjusted yardages at a glance on the front on the shoulder strap.
The water-resistant tech components can be removed from the strap for charging. All accessories are included with purchase and can also be used as stand-alone devices.
The strap is designed to be configured with any Stitch Golf bag and universal adapters will be available to make the Link Strap usable with any bag on the market.
