Leveraging a multi-material design, relocated mass and refined shapes, TaylorMade’s Qi10 drivers claim to deliver maximum forgiveness while still retaining their speed and distance characteristics.
Since last fall, the Qi10 series of drivers gained rapid adoption by tour players across the board, from the standard model (Rory McIlroy) to the low-spin Qi10 LS (Tommy Fleetwood and Tiger Woods) as well as the forgiving Qi10 Max (Collin Morikawa).
Moment of inertia is the measure of an object's resistance to change in its rotation, and the higher the inertia the more forgiving the driver. The Qi10 is TaylorMade’s first driver to reach 10k MOI points.
The Qi10 driver ($599.99) is engineered to help players optimize distance and enhance forgiveness. It features lower center-of-gravity projection and higher MOI than its predecessor, delivering balanced performance without compromising speed and distance.
The Qi10 Max ($599.99) features a shallower head shape extending from front-to-back and significantly increases inertia by allowing mass to be placed farther from the center of the clubhead thanks to its “Infinity Carbon Crown” and third-generation lighter carbon-twist blue face. This engineering reduces forward weight and maximizes energy transfer at impact for better ball speeds and preserved performance on off-center strikes.
The Qi10 LS ($629.99) delivers a lower spin and lower launch, designed with a deep face and a more compact overall head shape to optimize performance for players with faster swing speeds.
