Winner: Italian Ladies’ Senior Amateur
Round of 64: U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur
Colavito had a major accomplishment in shooting 72-79 to capture the low-individual honor in the European Senior Ladies’ Team Championship. She also won twice in Italy and reached match play in the U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur.

Round of 16: U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur
Top 15: Spanish International Senior Ladies’ Championship
Foster, a retired policewoman, took home the R&A Women’s Senior Amateur title at Woodhall Spa in a battle with top-ranked senior woman Nadene Gole. She also made a run in the U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur and was the only U.K. representative in the round of 16.

Quarterfinalist: U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur
Gole played a lot of golf in 2023. Not only did she win eight times in her native Australia, but she also had success after making long trips to the U.S. and the U.K. Gole contended in the two biggest senior women’s amateur events on the calendar and could have added a couple more victories in other tournaments.
Kathy Hartwiger

Winner: Donna Andrews Invitational
Round of 64: U.S. Women’s Mid-Am
Hartwiger won two senior titles this year and came close a few other times, including in the North and South Senior (runner-up), Women’s Southern GA Senior (runner-up) and the Jones-Doherty Senior (semifinalist). She reached match play in both the U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur and the U.S. Women’s Mid-Am.
Shelly Haywood
Laguna Woods, California
Winner: California Senior Women’s Amateur
Winner: California Senior Women’s Championship
Round of 32: U.S. Senior Women’s Am
The former head coach for the University of Arizona women’s golf team excelled in 2023 by winning the Jones-Doherty against a strong field, followed up by wins in the California Senior Women’s Amateur and California Senior Women’s Championship. She also reached the round of 32 in the U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur
Kim Keyer-Scott
Bonita Springs, Florida
Winner: Women’s Southern GA Senior Amateur
Semifinalist: U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur
Keyer-Scott grabbed one of the prominent senior amateur titles and then made it all the way to the semifinals of the U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur. She also had four other top-10 finishes and reached match play in the U.S. Women’s Mid-Am.
Judith Kyrinis

Winner: Canadian Women’s Mid-Am
Top 10: U.S. Senior Women’s Open
Quarterfinalist: U.S. Women’s Mid-Am
This was a sensational year for Kyrinis as she won two big events in Canada, finished tied for sixth (and low amateur) in the U.S. Senior Women’s Open against mostly pros and made a deep run in the U.S. Women’s Mid-Am.
Terrill Samuel
Winner: Florida Women’s Senior Amateur
Top 10: AGA Senior Women’s Amateur
Samuel won twice in Florida, including the state’s highly contested senior amateur crown. A top-10 in the U.S. Senior Women’s Open, a top-five in the Canadian Women’s Senior and reaching match play of the U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur rounds out her résumé.
Sylvie Van Molle

Winner: Gran Premio Senior Femenino
Winner: Italian Senior International Ladies Championship
Van Molle won twice and contended frequently while competing in seven different countries over the course of the year. She had a nice showing in the U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur, highlighted by a round-of-32 upset over defending champion Shelly Stouffer.
Sue Wooster
Winner: Arizona Senior Women’s Amateur
Runner-up: Australian Women’s Senior Amateur
Round of 32: U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur
Wooster competed in five countries and played more than 15 meaningful events, gathering wins in the Cobram Barooga Senior Amateur and the Arizona Senior Women’s Amateur. She finished top 30 in the U.S. Senior Women’s Open.
