Puma’s ProAdapt Alphacat spikeless shoe blends fashion-forward style, comfort and high-tech performance in premium models for men and women.
The ProAdapt Alphacat uses an array of innovative materials including Puma’s proprietary Adapt foam, which is made from a combination of EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) cushioning and an impact-resistant polymer. The combination provides impact resistance, high energy return and excellent ground feel.
The multi-material outsole with abrasion-resistant TPU perimeter provides stability and traction on soft surfaces, while the central crystal rubber unit offers ground-gripping traction and a soft-under-foot feel on hard surfaces. The upper is composed of engendered mesh with a TPU film that provides structure and support as well as waterproof performance with a one-year guarantee.
“The new ProAdapt Alphacat delivers the energy and innovation we are about here at Puma,” said Andrew Lawson, senior product line manager of footwear at Puma Golf. “More golfers than ever are wearing spikeless shoes, so when creating this shoe, our engineers and designers utilized both performance innovations and style trends to create the most advanced, stylish spikeless golf shoe Puma has made to date.”
The Alphacat is available in four colorways for men ($150) with standard lace and Disc and in three colorways for a laced model for women ($120).
