Callaway’s new Rogue ST family of drivers is the company’s fastest and most stable yet, combining innovations that are engineered for maximum speed with high levels of forgiveness.
“The Rogue family in the past was our most successful franchise ever,” said Dave Neville, senior equipment director at Callaway Golf. “This idea of Rogue ST is speed tuned with tons of new breakthrough technologies.”
The Rogue Max ST lineup includes four drivers to suit players of every ability, each equipped with a combination of new features that increase speed while also lowering spin.
A new Tungsten Speed Cartridge places specific weight (up to 26 grams) low and deep in the head for increased speed, stability and a high moment of inertia. The patented Jailbreak Speed Frame provides stability in the horizontal and torsional direction, with the intent of delivering even more speed across the face.
The A.I.-designed Flash Face optimization formula lowers spin on the face to allow more forgiveness, the company says.
“We made a decision this last year to really pursue golf speed robustness, which means if you hit it all over the face you’re still going to have very consistent ball speed all over the face,” Neville said.
The Max ST offers the best combination of distance and forgiveness, fitting the majority of players with the highest-MOI head for a high launch with a slight draw bias.
The Max D is a dedicated draw model for players who need the most shot-shape correction. It features a more upright lie, reduced face progression and a stretched profile at address to help players who tend to slice the ball.
The Max LS is built for lower spins along with a stronger trajectory for a more neutral ball flight and increased workability to suit mid- to low-handicap players.
Finally, there is the Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS with a neutral-to-fade bias in a compact, 450cc head that provides the lowest spin for better players.
