As far as people at Edel Golf are concerned, putting is about aim, path and speed. They also believe that their new EAS (for Edel Alignment System) putters can help players improve upon all those things because they offer the “most robust putter fitting system in the game.”
EAS uses four different head shapes, two of which are blades (the EAS 1.0 and EAS 2.0) and two mallets (the EAS 4.0 and EAS 5.0). All are machined from 303 Japanese stainless steel with a lightweight aluminum alignment plate designed to address their individual aim biases and get putts on line. At the same time, the clubs offer adjustable weighting options so players are better able to control the speed of their putts. Edel also employs something called Torque Balanced technology to make it easier to get a putter face back to square at impact by strategically removing weight from the toe to create a “toe-up” balance point that is less susceptible to twisting.
Due to custom fitting being such an important part of the EAS putter line story, Edel Golf is selling its flat sticks initially through outfits that specialize in that sort of service, like Club Champion and GolfTec.
