PowaKaddy has completely remodelled its ingenious Compact range of electric trolleys in time for the start of the 2020 season.
The company’s simple-2-fold system allows the CT6 and CT6 GPS models to fold down to 20 percent smaller than the previous models and that makes them an impressive 35 percent smaller than their nearest competitor, according to the company.
The all-new, low-profile PowaFrame chassis will fit into the smallest of car boots while the remodel also provides a stylish new look to match the trolleys’ performance.
“The Compact range has been a huge success since its inception in 2017 and we are proud to introduce the second generation of our extremely popular GPS model,” said PowaKaddy chief executive officer David Catford. “There are some major technological advances in the new range and after two years of design and development we believe our fantastic team of engineers has created not only the most compact electric trolley on the market, but also the most intelligent.”
The CT6 GPS spearheads the 2020 Compact range. The trolley features a fully integrated GPS system which can be accessed on a 2.8-inch full-colour screen built onto the trolley’s handle and which offers an automatic hole-advance feature as well as an automatic distance function that allows you to set the stopping distance of your trolley.
The CT6 is also engineered to rewrite the rules of compact design. It boasts a gunmetal metallic frame which weighs in at just 9.8 kg, which makes it 5 percent lighter than the previous Compact model. The integrated carry handle makes transportation effortless while the soft-touch handle can be adjusted easily to the perfect height for the user.
The new Compact models are powered by PowaKaddy’s upgraded Lithium 30v Max battery and motor system. The new Plug ’n’ Play battery is the thinnest and lightest on the market, according to the company. It remains on the trolley when folded and is 40 percent smaller than the previous model. It also features a new, top-mounted on/off switch.
The recommended retail price of the New CT6 GPS trolley is £799.99 (18-hole lithium battery) or £849.99 (36-hole hole lithium battery). The corresponding RRPs of the CT6 are £649.99 and £699.99.
